Lifetime National Park Passes for Seniors Are Only $10, but Not for Long!

Due to legislation passed by Congress last December, on August 28th, lifetime National Park passes will see a 700 percent fee hike.  Currently, their America the Beautiful senior pass for people 62 and older costs only $10 and after the price increase, it will cost $80.  This jump in price will be the first of its kind since 1994.  If you enjoy spending your retirement or vacations visiting these national parks, we urge you to purchase a pass today!

In the National Park Service Centennial Act, infrastructure issues in our National Parks were addressed.  With the price hike, Congress is hoping to raise funds to preserve the historic, natural and cultural resources of our National Parks for the enjoyment of present and future generations.  In this Act, a new annual pass for seniors was issued.  Seniors, after August 28th, can purchase these new annual passes for $20.  If they buy the new annual passes for four years, they can get a lifetime pass for no additional cost.

The lifetime National Park pass grants lifetime entry to more than 2,000 sites and parks across the country.  Those who purchase their pass for $10 will be able to use them without any additional charge.

To purchase your Lifetime National Park Pass before prices increase, you can either visit a national park or online (note a $10 processing fee will be applied online).
