Special needs planning is one of the fastest-growing fields in estate planning. Clients need attorneys who combine compassion with skilled estate planning and knowledge of the public benefits programs on which many individuals with special needs must rely.
The goal of the Academy of Special Needs Planners is to provide attorneys in this field with all the practice aids they need to successfully fulfill their clients' needs. These practice tools include e-letters describing new developments in the field, a document exchange to share forms, statutes and case decisions, a listserv to share questions and answers, the leading consumer site providing individuals and their families with necessary information and leads to ASNP members, listings on the consumer site, and e-mail newsletters to send to clients.
