Blackbird Workshop for Family Issues
Vincent J. Russo, managing shareholder of Vincent J. Russo and Associates, P.C., recently hosted The Little Blackbird Workshop in Jericho, N.Y.
The event which was opened to the public, saw panelists and consumers in the special needs community gather to discuss issues impacting today’s families. The topic of this workshop focused on financial and legal issues affecting families with special needs.
This workshop series is designed to inform consumers and their families about the challenges and advances people with special needs and their families experience.
Panelists at the event, included left to right, George Orefici of MetLife’s division of estate planning for special children; Barbara Fischkin, parent of a child with special needs, author, journalist and autism advocate; Russo; and Frank Buquicchio, partner at Vincent J. Russo and Associates.
