The Day I had the conversation with my mother. She was upset to say the least.

I talked to her about pre planning her funeral. I didn’t wish her dead – but boy – she sure felt that way.

So, a few months later she came to visit and we went to the funeral home. And then I found out about the style of the casket she wanted and the saying on the memorial card. Wow - she really knew what she wanted and I was relieved.

The good news is that she is still here on this earth – enjoying life and yes – still talking to me.

Don’t be afraid to have the tough conversation with your parents. They will appreciate that you care about them.
