The Senior Umbrella Network (www.seniorumbrella.org), a Long Island based organization whose members are dedicated to servicing older adults and individuals with disabilities has created a brochure entitled “Recognizing Elder Abuse.” This brochure contains helpful information including indicators of elder abuse and resources is someone needs help.

I recently had the pleasure of facilitating a panel discussion on Elder Abuse for the NYSBA Elder Law Section.  Joy Solomon and Joan Sculli provided an informative discussion on What Every Elder Law Attorney Should Know about Elder Abuse and importantly, what the professional should do.
