Frank L. Buquicchio Named to Board of ADRC

Frank L. Buquicchio Named to Board of ADRCFrank L. Buquicchio, a partner at Russo Law Group, P.C., has been appointed to the board of the Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center (ADRC), a non-profit organization which raises money through various events and provides valuable service for Long Island families who are facing the challenges of Alzheimer’s Disease. The mission of the ADRC is “to support research that may lead to a cure for Alzheimer’s Disease; to provide care, support, and education programs for families in need; and to be advocates for local families who are coping with Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias.”

The ADRC was previously a chapter of the National Alzheimer’s Association, but they broke off a number of years ago to form their own organization. This was done in part to keep the money raised serving local families; the money raised by and donated to ADRC is being used for services for families on Long Island.

Frank has served on the legal advisory committee of the ADRC (and previously the Association chapter) for over 10 years. The committee is comprised of a handful of experienced elder law attorneys. Part of the committee’s role in the organization is to guide families through the legal issues such as: estate planning; discuss programs including Medicaid; and to provide information to the general public through articles and free seminars.

Frank was also named to be the Committee Chair of the legal advisory committee for the ADRC.

This appointment will enable Frank and Russo Law Group, P.C. to help families on Long Island who have loved ones battling Alzheimer’s and related dementia diseases.

The legal advisory committee will periodically write legal articles to be posted to the ADRC website and in the newsletter. Be sure to visit the website and subscribe to the newsletter. If you have questions or would like to get involved, please contact us.
