Week in Review

On October 20, Team Russo participated in the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides for Breast Cancer Walk at Jones Beach. This walk is the largest Breast Cancer Walk in the United States with 65,000 Participants and 1,229 Registered Teams! Overall, a total of $2.6Million was raised on Long Island alone! We can only imagine how much money was raised across the entire U.S.!

Team Russo comprised of staff, family and friends who collected $1,615! Donations are still accepted online, here.

The Numbers:

• 14 staff members joined Team Russo plus friends and family members participated in the walk on Sunday!

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women and sadly, 1 in 8 will be diagnosed within their lifetime. Team Russo is happy to support such an important cause. We will continue fighting against this life-threatening disease.

On Monday, the office was greeted with a bagel breakfast courtesy of KJOY – 98.3 FM Radio Station. We were entered into the “Office of the Week” contest by our staff member Julie. Each week a different workplace is selected to be celebrated. We were selected for this week by the radio station. Participation includes acknowledgment on the radio throughout the week, a bagel breakfast from Bagel Boss on Monday and a catered lunch from Moe’s on Thursday.
